My name is Jessica Marie Thompson, and I’ve been married for seven years without being able to conceive. For years, I tried everything I could, but no matter what I did, I couldn’t get pregnant. My faith in God was strong, but after so long, I started feeling hopeless. I truly believe that my miracle came through because someone stood with me in prayer and attacked the forces that were holding me back. I now carry the miracle of life in my womb, and I will forever be grateful to God and to UPH for the role they played in this journey.

First of all, I want to thank Layla Simone Davis for introducing me to Urgent Prayer House (UPH) — a path that truly transformed my life. I am forever grateful to her for being the bridge that led me to this life-changing ministry. I also want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire UPH team for standing with me and fighting for my freedom until I was finally set free.

When I first reached out to UPH, I had no idea what I was truly facing. The team was able to see things in my life that I didn’t even know existed. I thought what I was experiencing was normal, but the truth is, I was blind to what was really happening. When you’re blind, you can’t see the full picture — you can only sense the presence of what’s around you. And that’s exactly how I felt: I knew something was wrong, but I couldn’t see its depth until it was revealed to me.

One of the things UPH told me is that there are many spiritual battles that cannot be handled by just yourself. Some dark forces holding your life back may be stronger than your own spiritual strength. It's not simply because you are a Christian that you will automatically overcome every spirit. Remember, even the disciples of Jesus couldn’t fight some dark forces until they were told to fast and pray in order to handle them.

It’s a big mistake to say, “I am a Christian, no evil power can destroy me.” The Bible tells us to "watch and pray" — it doesn't say "do nothing because you are a Christian already." UPH also emphasized that we must handle both the spiritual and physical aspects of our battles. They don’t just spiritualize everything; they make sure it’s 100% confirmed before addressing it that way.

For years, I believed that drugs were the most relaxing and problem-solving escape I could find. Whenever I was struggling, whenever life felt too heavy to bear, I’d turn to drug use. It seemed like a way to numb the pain and quiet the chaos in my mind. Little did I know, it was destroying my life gradually, until I became completely addicted.

One of the reasons I turned to drugs was because I felt unbearably lonely. I felt like nobody liked me, like I was unworthy of love or care. But the more I used drugs, the more I pushed people away. It seemed like drugs were the only thing I could rely on, but the more I used them, the more isolated I became. People started distancing themselves from me, and that only made my feelings of being unloved and rejected grow stronger.

I felt trapped in a vicious cycle. The more I used drugs to escape my loneliness and pain, the tighter the grip of addiction became, and the more I pushed others away. The cycle of feeling rejected and using drugs to numb that pain kept getting worse. I was alone in my struggle, with no one to stand with me.

When the UPH team prayed for me, they didn’t just offer a quick prayer. They entered into spiritual warfare on my behalf, identifying the root causes of my addiction. They prayed for my deliverance and for the spiritual forces that had kept me bound. It wasn’t just about breaking the addiction; it was about breaking the emotional and spiritual chains that had held me captive.

Through their prayers, I felt a profound shift. I began to feel the weight of my loneliness, my hatred, and my addiction lifting. The darkness that had bound me for so long started to fade, and I felt God’s presence more deeply than ever before. I found freedom and a peace I had never known.

Now, I live with hope and clarity. I no longer rely on substances to cope with life’s struggles. I’ve found healing and restoration, and most importantly, I’ve learned that I am loved.

I am writing to share a powerful and life-changing experience that my family and I have recently gone through. My son, a young child, was tragically affected by a demonic spirit that caused him to display erratic and terrifying behaviors. As a father, like many others in Europe, my first instinct was to seek medical help. We immediately took him to the hospital, where over the course of five long months, doctors performed numerous tests and procedures. Despite their best efforts, there was no improvement. Witnessing this miracle firsthand has been a life-altering experience. At one point, I didn’t believe it was even possible for my son to return to his normal, joyful self. The medical community had exhausted all their possibilities and yet could not offer us the one thing we truly needed: a solution. It is truly humbling to see how UPH brought freedom into our lives in a way I could never have imagined.
